3 Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ – Best AMOLED Android Drawing Tablet

If you’re looking for the best high performance Android drawing tablet, then this is it. Samsung’s Android tablet flagship is a highly capable device that can easily handle multitasking, along with impressive features and all-day battery life.

Available in four different colors, including black, bronze, mystic navy, and silver, there is a style to suit everyone. The good news for budding artists is the S Pen is included and doesn’t need to be purchased separately like the Apple pencil.

Performance powerhouse…

Samsung uses a Snapdragon 865+ 8 core 1.8GHz processor across all variants. The 128GB storage has 6GB of RAM, while the 256GB and 512GB storage versions have 8GB of RAM available for snappy multitasking. As a result, this is one of the most powerful Android drawing tablets you can find.

Does something inspire you that you’d like to draw later? Well, snap a picture with three different lenses to choose from. On the rear is a 13MP wide lens and a 5MP ultra-wide. At the front is an 8MP lens for selfies and portraits.

You S-Pen me right round…

Using the active S-Pen feels incredible. It charges wirelessly when magnetically attached to the rear of the tablet. There is no noticeable lag, and you can feel some resistance giving a natural feeling.

This tablet has one of the most impressive displays we’ve ever seen. It is the best wide screen android drawing tablet on our list. The 12.4-inch 2,800 x 1,752p resolution Super AMOLED display with 120Hz is simply stunning. Color accuracy is almost perfect with beautiful color, deep blacks, and enough brightness to use outdoors.

4 Huawei MediaPad M5 – Best Family Friendly Android Drawing Tablet

Although this isn’t at the level of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ we just looked at, it is one of the better tablets in this price range. It has a thin, lightweight, and attractive design and includes a decent stylus.

Using quality components, this tablet cannot only be used for drawing but is suitable for the whole family. Child-friendly features like the fingerprint sensor to unlock make this device perfect for budding young artists. Therefore, this is one of the best kids android drawing tablets on the market.

Beyond expectations…

Huawei uses a powerful Krin 659 processor that can run up to a blazing 2.4GHz. As a result, this is one of the fastest android drawing tablets available. Running programs is fast and lag-free, even with the lower 3GB of RAM for memory. Flash storage holds 32GB that can be expanded with a micro-SD card up to 256GB.

There is a lot of bloatware that comes preinstalled, but luckily this can quickly and easily be removed. It’s worth keeping the kid’s corner if you have small children, though, as it has its own cool home screen, and works well.

Writing with the M-Pen Lite…

The included stylus called the M-Pen Lite is made from aluminum and is wider than most other stylus options. This makes it easy to grip and hold while taking advantage of the 2,048 levels of pressure sensitivity.

Enjoy viewing all your artwork using the 10.1-inch Full HD 1920 x 1080p IPS panel display. Images are crisp and bright with high levels of detail that can be viewed from almost any angle without losing color accuracy.

Including a keyboard cover and the stylus in the box, this makes for a great value product. The processor and RAM can take on regular Apps and even multimedia tasks like watching YouTube or Netflix at blistering speed.

Making the most…

Boasting an 8-core processor that runs at a respectable 1.6GHz, backed up by 4GB of RAM, this tablet keeps up with more expensive models. 6 Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite – Best S-Pen Android Drawing Tablet

Before the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 was the S6, with the S7 replacing the S6 as the new flagship, this means that you should be able to pick up the S6 for an absolute bargain. That is if you don’t mind making some minor sacrifices.

You will still receive an amazingly powerful device that will outperform most other new products on the market. There’s also that vibrancy from the screen that only Samsung can seem to deliver, plus the inclusion of the S-Pen.

It can still deliver…

Samsung uses an 8-core Exynos 9611 processor, running four cores at 2.31GHz and the other four at 1.74GHz. Multitasking is swift and relatively smooth with 4GB of RAM. Data is stored on 64GB of built-in flash and can be expanded with a micro-SD card up to 512GB.

Being the Lite version of the previous flagship means that heavy photo or video editing lags. The good news for drawing is that this version appears to be optimized for use with the included S-Pen.

Built for creativity…

You can attach the S-Pen to the side of the tablet when not in use. Writing or drawing with the stylus is free from lag and responsive. Pressure sensitivity works impressively well across a wide range of applications too.

You do miss out on the latest AMOLED technology and only have the older LED technology. In saying that, though, Samsung has always been a leader in this field. The 10.4-inch 2000 x 1200p resolution TFT display is still amazingly bright, vivid, and detailed.

7 Lenovo Tab M10 Plus – Best Thin Bezel Android Drawing Tablet

When you first pick up the Lenovo Tab M10 Plus, you can’t help but be impressed by the thin bezels and colorful display. While it does provide stylus support, there isn’t one included, and that’s a purchase that needs to be made separately.

Given its affordable price and impressive performance, this can easily be forgiven. There are plenty of useful features other than drawing support, like Google Assistant Ambient mode support. This allows you to use the tablet as a smart display.

Take your pick…

There are three configurations to choose from, starting with the 32GB storage and 2GB of RAM. There are then two larger storage sizes of 64GB and 128GB, both of which have an increased 4GB of RAM.

All three configurations use the same 8-core MediaTek Helio P22T processor. Four of the cores run at 2.3GHz, while the other four run at 2.3GHz. Storage can be expanded on all three versions up to a maximum of 256GB using a micro-SD card.

Display of brilliance…

For a mid-range tablet, you’ll certainly be impressed by the 10.3-inch 1920 x 1200p IPS display panel. It has ten touchpoints and can reach a brightness of up to 330 nits. The colors are vivid and rich, sure to catch anyone’s eye.

There isn’t too much bloatware slowing things down, which is a welcome change. There is a useful kids mode for anyone that has small children in their family. Now the entire family can learn some digital art skills.

8 Samsung Galaxy Tab A – Best Bluetooth Android Drawing Tablet

For our final drawing tablet, it should come as no surprise that it’s another Samsung product. Their Galaxy Tab A offers a quality build, decent tech, and that bright, colorful screen that only Samsung appears able to achieve.

There’s thin bezels, no physical buttons, and a mostly metal body. It would be easy to mistake this for a more expensive tablet. The best part for drawing is that Samsung’s Galaxy Tab A is compatible with the S-Pen.

Low price, high power…

Thinking is completed by an 8-core Exynos 7904 processor running two cores at 1.8GHz and 6 cores at 1.6GHz. There are three storage sizes to choose from being 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB. All three sizes share the same 2GB of RAM.

While these numbers don’t appear all that impressive on paper, the performance results are much better. Even graphically intensive programs run smoothly, with only minimum stuttering noticed, and are still completely usable.

Even more useful features…

Dual-band WiFi with both 2.4GHz and 5GHz signals being supported offers lightning-fast wireless internet access. Connect accessories using the latest Bluetooth 5.0 technology or USB 2.0 for a wired connection.

Due to having stylus support built into the tablet, this means that you can purchase your third-party pen. The Samsung S-Pen is fantastic and hard to beat, but if you want to save some money, any stylus will work too.

Our rating:4.7 out of 5 stars (4.7 / 5)
