Top 5 Best Card Shufflers In 2022 Reviews
1
WYZ Works – Simplest 6 Deck Card Shuffler
If you like to have the crew over for a poker tournament occasionally, we’re sure you would rather spend time playing than shuffling. This automatic shuffler from WYZ Works can shuffle up to six decks at once.
The best part is that it can have those six decks shuffled in a matter of seconds, with just the single press of a button. Even if you are a decent shuffler, it is very difficult and time-consuming to handle multiple decks.
More play, less fuss…
This device works with both standard and bridge sized cards. It also will shuffle cards constructed from both paper and plastic. It is fully automated and requires four C size batteries to operate.
Once the batteries are inserted, simply load the cards evenly into both the left and right feeders on top of the device. It’s then as easy as pushing the large power button at the bottom of the shuffler.
Anyone can operate it…
In seconds, you can watch the decks gently mix together. All of the cards will be collected in the plastic receiving tray. The transparent cover over the tray allows you to quickly see how many cards are left inside.
We liked this product because it is affordable and is fully automated. It is effortless to use and allows for more time playing with less time fussing over cards. It is excellent for home use, and for serious players.
Pros
- Fully automated operation.
- Shuffles up to six decks.
- Compatible with most cards.
Cons
- Uses C cell batteries.
- Can be a bit noisy.

CHH 6 Deck – Best American Automatic Card Shuffler
Another six deck shuffler, this time manufactured by CHH. Now it claims to be a six deck shuffler; however, it will only accommodate up to four decks in the cardholder. Even though it will take six decks in the dual feeders, you will need to remove the four decks’ worth of shuffled cards before completing the remaining two.
The most significant difference here is that CHH is an American manufacturing company. That’s right, one of the rare products that are still made in the USA. There is nothing wrong with most products made in China, but some do suffer quality control issues.
Every day I’m shuffling…
Just like our first product from WYZ, this automatic shuffler requires four C cell batteries to operate. It works in an almost identical fashion. First, load the cards evenly across the dual card feeders. Then press the large, easily accessible shuffle button.
Within a few seconds, you can watch as the cards fall effortlessly into the cardholder expertly shuffled. To remove the cards, simply slide up the clear plastic cover on the cardholder and slide them out.
Made to last…
The craftsmanship on this unit is apparent immediately. Even though it is primarily constructed of plastic, it feels sturdy and robust. The plastic used is hard and durable, and it feels like the machine will last well into the future.
Unlike the WYZ machine, this product will only accept standard size playing cards. It will, however, accept both plastic and paper cards. This machine is fantastic for those who want to enjoy a round of cards without wasting time shuffling multiple decks.
Pros
- Made in the USA.
- Automatic shuffling.
- Built to last.
Cons
- Uncommon C cell batteries required.
- Only accepts standard-size cards.

CHH Hand Cranked 2 Deck – Best American Manual Card Shuffler
Maybe you’re after something a little less flashy that can still deliver results without the need for batteries? A manual card shuffler is also a lot quieter than an automatic model, eliminating that loud motor noise.
Having a quieter machine can mean you can continue playing into the night without waking sleeping family members. This machine is also manufactured by CHH, so you know you are getting a quality product made in the USA.
Sometimes it’s better to do it yourself…
Up to two decks can be shuffled simultaneously. Just like the automatic shufflers, you load a deck on each side into the feeder. A small crank arm on the rear is then turned to efficiently shuffle the cards into the cardholder below.
The machine is easy to use and shuffles the cards quickly. Once the cards have completed being shuffled, they can be slid out from the cardholder at the bottom of the machine. This is suitable for both adults or children to use.
Ready to play…
Just like the automatic CHH shuffler, this manual version is well constructed and feels like it is built to last. Made from high-quality materials, it can withstand the enthusiasm younger players tend to demonstrate.
Another shared trait with the automatic version is the fact that it will only accept standard size playing cards. We think this may have been a missed opportunity, as it would be perfect for shuffling the kid’s Uno cards.
Pros
- Made in the USA.
- Near silent operation.
- Quality materials.
Cons
- Maximum two deck capacity.
- Only accepts standard playing cards.
4
Classic Game Collection 2 Deck – Best Silent Manual Card Shuffler
Here is another manual card shuffler produced by Classic Game Collection. It is very similar to the CHH model and can shuffle up to two decks at once. It also has a crank arm at the rear that is used for activating the device.
If the thought of whisper-quiet operation appeals to you, but the CHH model isn’t suitable, maybe this one will be. There is a significant difference between these two machines that may have prevented you from using the CHH model.
What’s the difference?
The Classic Game Collection model can support both standard and bridge size playing cards. We also tried some Uno cards, and it did a good job with those too. But having this extra ability doesn’t come without sacrifice.
The build quality is not to the same standard. That’s not to say that it’s unacceptable; in fact, it is actually pretty good. It is just that the CHH model is excellent. Apart from these two differences, the machines operate almost identically.
Smooth operation…
As mentioned, the cards are shuffled by turning a crank arm at the rear of the machine. The crank is a little larger than the other manual model, therefore making it just a little easier to turn.
Each of the dual feeders can take up to one full deck of cards each. As the cards are shuffled, they are neatly piled into the cardholder. The cards can then easily be removed, ready for the next round.
Pros
- Silent operation.
- Accepts both standard and bridge cards.
- Easy to operate.
Cons
- Build quality is not as good as the CHH.
- Can struggle with very slick cards.
5
Trademark – Best Budget Automatic Card Shuffler
Finally, we have the most affordable shuffler here. And it is an automatic model produced by Trademark. Like the other automatic shufflers, this product can shuffle up to six decks of cards simultaneously.
Power is supplied by the same inconvenient four C cell batteries. At least they last a decent length of time because most people don’t usually keep a stash of these in the cupboards like AAA or AA batteries.
Make playing more fun…
For an easy to use, affordable device, this can really make your card games more enjoyable. Who wouldn’t rather be playing a game than wasting time trying to shuffle multiple decks effectively?
The machine itself is small and lightweight enough to be stored away easily when not in use. This makes it perfect for pulling out on games night. Just make sure you remove the batteries if storing for an extended period.
Performs better than expected…
Being the least expensive device here, we were pleased with its operation. Just like all the other shufflers here, you load the cards evenly across the two feeders. Then, after holding the button down for a couple of seconds, all the cards are neatly shuffled into the holder tray.
There were, of course, a few misfires from the gears that send the cards into the card tray. But this can be easily rectified, as the jammed card can easily be accessed and removed. It happened very infrequently, and we were very impressed with the performance based on the price.
Pros
- Most affordable shuffler.
- Six deck capacity.
- Performs well.
Cons
- Build quality not as good as others.
- Cards occasionally misfeed.
Best Card Shufflers Buying Guide
If you play cards even semi-regularly, this affordable device can make your playing experience much more enjoyable. In this section, we’ll help guide you to which device will most likely suit you best.
There is a pretty clear divide between these devices, and that is between automatic and manual machines. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. Join us as we cover what each has to offer.
Automatic shufflers
An automatic shuffler requires a lot less effort from the user to complete the required task. It can also operate slightly quicker than manual designs. They can also usually shuffle more cards than their counterparts.
On the negative side, you need those C cell batteries for an automatic machine to operate. They are also a lot noisier than using a hand crank. So depending on where you like to play cards, the noise may just be too inconvenient for some.
Manual shufflers
As just mentioned, the manual devices can perform in near silence. This can be great for either late night players or for in the kids’ games room. The other significant advantage is that you don’t need to go searching for batteries. It will work whenever you need it.
Why not just go for a manual, then?
On the negative side, both of the manual machines here can only accommodate up to two decks of cards. Plus, there is the whole needing to crank the arm yourself thing. Only a minor inconvenience, but still an inconvenience for some, nonetheless.
If we still haven’t helped you decide on which card shuffler will suit you best, the next section might just be what you need. We will reveal our choice for the best card shuffler and why.
