So far, we have looked at items that are described as desks. In some cases, they are more tables than desks. But what is the difference between a desk and a table? Not a great deal really, and companies often like to use the word desk when the product is little more than a table.

Given that we are looking at the best office desks, this appears to be a desk designed for gamers. That is a wholly different set of requirements than you would need for an office. Nevertheless, while it is here, we will take a look and see what it has to offer.

This is a small desk/table that is designed for those who have limited space. It measures 30.5 by 22 by 20 inches and weighs less than 29 pounds. It is a very basic unit with a simple design and is made with stainless steel that is given a black powder-coated finish. The shelves are made from MDF fiberboard. There are also some plastic fittings.

Small but practical…

Whilst there isn’t too much room on the top work surface, there is enough for your laptop. If you use a PC, there is a pull-out shelf for the keyboard if you wish. There is also a bottom shelf. We’re not exactly certain about the Le Crozz brand, and we can’t find any info on them at all? However, this office table has certainly been designed with one thing in mind. Let’s look good, and it achieves that.

It is an ‘L’ shaped table with plenty of space for working. However, it has rather limited depth at only 19 inches, but its width makes up for it. The frame is steel that is given a powder-coated chrome-like finish. And not only is it aesthetically nice, but it also does its job in giving very firm stability. It also has bars down both sides that can act as food rests.

Practical and versatile…

The working surfaces are made from particle board with a very attractive wood grain finish that is glossed. It has no indents and so writing on it will not be a problem. It is very lightweight, at only 32 pounds.

Counting the legs and lower crossbars, it has six points of contact with the floor. Each is given a stabilizing glide that is adjustable. This is so that you can counteract uneven floor surfaces. The ‘L’ shaped design will fit neatly into corners and so save some space.

You will need to assemble the desk. But full instructions are given, and the screwdrivers required are included.

Looks great, but…

Here is a desk from Bestier that not only offers a good size working space, but it also gives you some storage space. Albeit in what initially looks like a bit of a clumsy design.

The working space they give you measures 47 inches by 23 and a half inches and is more than adequate. It has a metal frame that, if we are honest, does look rather thin and possibly unstable. But with the extra security of the shelving built-in, it is stable enough. The metal is given a standard black powder-coated finish.

Fits in just about anywhere…

The desktop and the shelves are made from particleboard and are anti-scratching. They are given a glossed wood-like finish. The shelving can be placed on either the right or left side of the desk as you choose. A good design option as people will have preferences.

The shelving is quite spacious, but it does impinge a little on the seated area behind the desk. That is what we meant by our earlier comment about it being a clumsy design.

There are actually three shelves, not four as advertised as one of the ‘shelves’ is just an extension of the desk space. They are large enough though to take files and store small boxes and office supplies, so they are perfectly adequate.

Great value for the money…

It is a neatly laid out workspace and suitable for a variety of uses. And comes with assembly instructions, and there is also a video online you can view to help with assembly.
